Studia Biblica Slovaca (StBiSl)

LOGO-StBiSlis a peer-reviewed scholarly periodical for philological, historical, exegetical and theological research of the Sacred Scripture of both the Old and the New Testament. It publishes only original research articles in Slovak, Czech and English.

Pripravované číslo StBiSl 16/1 (2024) čoskoro

Prvé číslo 16. ročníka StBiSl prinesie už čoskoro okrem iného opäť niekoľko vedeckých štúdií. Budú sa týkať inšpirácie (1-2Kr), exegézy Starého zákona (Joz), problematiky judaizmu v makabejskom období, ako aj z Nového zákona (synoptici a Lk).

Aktualizačný seminár pre učiteľov a študentov Svätého písma – Rím 2025

Redakcia StBiSl informuje, že v dňoch 20. až 24. januára 2025 sa bude konať aktualizačný seminár pre biblistov na Pápežskom biblickom inštitúte v Ríme. Témou nastávajúceho ročníka je Starý zákon z hstorickej perspektívy” / Prospettive storiche sull’Antico Testamento. Zápis je možný do 10. októbra 2024. Predbežný program a ďalšie informácie sú zverejnené tu.

Journal in the AWOL index

The journal Studia Biblica Slovaca has been included in AWOL – The Ancient World Online (ISSN 2156-2253). The AWOL is a list of 2136 titles of Open Access Journals exploring the ancient world.

AWOL is a project of Charles E. Jones, Tombros Librarian for Classics and Humanities at Pattee Library, Penn State University. It includes digitized paper-based journals from their 18th century origins to the present day. It also includes born-digital open access journals. We are therefore very grateful to the project of Professor Charles E. Jonson for including the journal StBiSl in their prestigious database.
