On March 4, 2022, Martina Korytiaková defended at the Biblical Faculty of the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome her doctoral thesis entitled Space in the Book of Judith. Narrative Analysis and Interpretation of Space, which the jury evaluated as excellent – summa cum laude. She is the first Slovak woman ever to complete her studies at this prestigious world-famous institution. The author is also a long-time executive editor of our journal Studia Biblica Slovaca, and therefore, on behalf of the entire editorial team, we would like to express our sincere congratulations to her.
