Abstract: Studies of Ph. Vielhauer (1950) and of H. Conzelmann (1952 and 1954) were a turning point in the research on the Luke’s double work (Luke-Acts). Paper presents the evaluation of W. G. Kümmel and highlights the impact of these studies for the advancement of research on Luke’s theology. Finally, it proposed the specific considerations on the theology of Luke double work.
